I know last week I promised the update would be fixing the win state and improving the monster, but I found two things were arguably more important. The first was a bug I spotted awhile back (and perhaps you even noticed in our preview video) where the enemy will not actually collide with the player in the end — the player has to voluntarily collide with the enemy. This has now been fixed with a simple blueprint switch-out. Big thanks to ChatGPT for the help here!
You may have also noticed that the map is way, way too dark. It definitely is supposed to be sparsely lit, but we may have gone too far with having just dim streetlights. So I’ve started improving the lighting by adding porch and interior lights to most of the homes. This will be hopefully finished next week, where we can really get started on the monster and UI stuff.
