As many of you may have noticed, the final rough-draft chapter of Boys & Girls: Part II released last week. It’s been a fantastic journey so far, but there’s still a lot ahead of us.

I’ve teased what happens next for quite some time, but now that things are all said and done I wanted to outline it explicitly here:

1. All Part I and Part II draft chapters posted on this site are about to be deleted. You have I’d say about a week or so from this post to read or save whatever you want to keep.
2. In its place, the final draft version of Part I — all 44 chapters! — will be released on a weekly serialized basis, similar to how Part II’s roughs were.
3. If you wish to continue the story of the Kinsky friends from there, you can purchase Boys & Girls: Complete Edition which will contain both the entirety of Part I as well as the finalized version of Part II, in pdf format. This is set to release sometime in late 2025.

Finally, I just want to stay thanks for sticking with me for these rough draft releases. There were quite a few embarrassing mishaps along the way — such as underestimating a character’s age by 6+ years or realizing halfway through that “Arabic” and “Farsi” are not the same language — but this is all what rough drafts are for. To be honest, I love the idea of serializing the roughs as I write them and will more than likely continue to do this in the future. Hope you enjoyed it, too!
